The Hai Tian Recreation Centre consists of a gymnasium, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, floodlit tennis courts and more. All are equipped with state-of-the-art gear. A large shopping arcade on the ground floor of the East block is chock-full of traditional arts and crafts, clothing, foods and wines, a good selection of magazines and newspapers and those little necessities like film and stationery items.

The Grand Ballroom:The Hai Tian's 700 square meter, multi-function hall that can be partitioned into 3 generous sections. The Ballroom is well-equipped with a built-in central stage, the latest audio-visual and lighting facilities, simultaneous translation booth, and a 5.5m high ceiling which conceals a giant remote-control projection screen. This ballroom is ideal for holding large-scale seminars, conferences, meetings, exhibitions, sit-down dinners, buffets and cocktail receptions for up to 600 guests. Hai Tian Hall:With its unique tortoise shell glass walls and ceiling, the Hai Tian Hall provides a unique sea view and dining experience for up to 250 banquet guests. Other, private meeting rooms have a capacity of 10 to 40 persons. Your needs in equipment and special services can be provided upon request

Area Attractions

This tiny freckle of land that stretches into Qingdao Bay just south of the Zhanqiao Pier rates as one of the most popular tourist stops. Despite being refered to as an island it is accessible via a lean stretch of land. A German lighthouse built in 1900 glows as its main attraction. If you were to be deposited into this old town area while blindfolded you would swear, after the blindfold was removed, that you were standing in downtown Munich.
